SVP, operations & IT, Genworth Europe & lifestyle

This role will report to the president, Genworth Europe and lifestyle protection and will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for all operations and IT activities across the businesses as well as developing and maintaining world class processes and productivity.

He/she will lead a global team of 500, will hold full P&L responsibility for the function and will be a key member of the senior management team. They will manage and develop key client relationships and will proactively translate client needs into strategic and operational service improvements.

He/she will manage and continuously improve critical business processes including loss mitigation and fraud prevention. They will further develop and maintain strong relationships with regulators and will enhance productivity across the business.

He/she will also:

>Demonstrate that they can lead sizeable change programmes and have successfully run a sizeable operation

>Be a respected leader with experience of managing, developing and motivating significant multi-country teams

>Have a commercial and strategic mindset combined with quantitative edge

>A technical background is key ideally in gained in international financial services but other related sectors would also be of interest

>World class operational excellence coupled with strategic leadership of IT

>Experience of successfully managing client relationships at the most senior levels

>The ability to strategically manage operations and IT in order to effectively support business growth

This position will command a significant six figure salary plus bonus & benefits.
