Laura Thomas is a member of Spencer Stuart's Life Sciences Practice. She specializes in senior-level executive and board director searches in Singapore and across Asia for a wide variety of clients in the life sciences sector. Laura brings more than 15 years of combined executive search and marketing and financial services experience to her role.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Laura was managing director of the Singapore office of a niche U.K.-based search firm focused on the life sciences sector. In that role, she led senior-level assignments in the fast-growing preclinical and clinical research segment and also conducted numerous regulatory and general management searches.
Laura entered the executive search industry in 2004 with another U.K. firm, where she served the healthcare, financial services and professional services segments and won several awards for search excellence. She began her career with a decade of experience in marketing and financial services roles in various countries around the world.
A native Singaporean, Laura studied overseas and holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the Curtin University of Technology in Australia and a master’s degree in human resources management from the National University of Ireland.
