Todd Labeaune, based in Los Angeles, is a member of Spencer Stuart's Private Equity and Financial Services practices. His work focuses on senior-level sales, marketing and investment professional assignments for private equity firms, investment and wealth management organizations, and hedge funds.
Todd brings nearly a decade of executive search experience to his role. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he was a core member of the private equity practice of another major international search firm. Over his career, he has conducted numerous searches for top-tier private equity and financial services clients, including Apollo Management, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., Oaktree Capital, Quad-C Management, The Capital Group, Dimensional Fund Advisors and Canyon Capital.
Before entering the executive search industry, Todd was an attorney. As a litigation associate, he was responsible for all aspects of case preparation, including discovery, depositions, law and motion, arbitrations and trial preparation. Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and a JD from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was a Dean’s Academic Honors Scholarship recipient.
