Victoria Xiang leads the firm's Life Sciences Practice in the Asia Pacific region and also is a member of the firm’s Industrial Practice, specializes in senior-level assignments across Greater China and Asia for the life sciences industry. She brings 20 years of international and industry experience as well as years of search experience in Greater China, Singapore and the U.S.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Victoria spent five years as regional president of Asia for a leading global specialty search firm in the life sciences industry. In that position, she placed numerous executives in key management roles — including regional presidents, regional functional heads and country heads — in Asia for global life sciences companies.
Prior to entering the search industry, Victoria spent six years in the U.S. as a marketing director for the Inductotherm Group, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s leading manufacturer of capital equipment for the metals and materials industry. Before pursuing her M.B.A. in the U.S., Victoria worked in Singapore for nearly five years as general manager for China at Goldtron Limited, a leading Singapore-based manufacturer of telecommunication products. She began her career in Shanghai as a sales and marketing executive for Alcatel Bell, China’s largest telecommunication equipment manufacturer.
Victoria was born and raised in Shanghai. She earned her bachelor’s degree in engineering and holds an M.B.A. from Hofstra University in New York.
