Based in Spencer Stuart's Singapore office, Arnaud Despierre leads the firm's Energy Practice for Asia-Pacific and is a member of the broader Industrial, Life Sciences and Human Resources practices within the firm. He brings a long consulting and engineering experience to his role as a consultant focused on energy, chemical, engineering technology, as well as professional services.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Arnaud worked for McKinsey & Company in Canada and Southeast Asia, where he served clients mainly in the industrial space. He helped his clients on an array of organizational issues ranging from organizational restructuring to human resources management, leadership development and cultural change. Among other things, he contributed to the transformation of several National Oil Companies in Southeast Asia. He began his career with Rolls Royce Energy, supporting the development of industrial gas turbines for oil and gas and electrical power generation applications, as well as marine gas turbine engines for the U.K. Royal Navy and U.S. Navy.
Arnaud is a graduate of the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in France and holds a Master of Science in thermal power from Cranfield University and an M.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan. He is fluent in English and French and conversational in Mandarin and Indonesian.
