Dr. Wolfgang Zillessen is a member of the firm's Business & Professional Services and Industrial practices and is based in Frankfurt.
Wolfgang concentrates on searches and management assessments in professional services for management consulting firms, global IT integrators and multidisciplinary advisory firms. In addition, he focuses in the industrial sector, with particular emphasis in industrial machinery, automotive, and chemicals. Wolfgang's extensive management consulting experience is a result of working at senior levels with many leading companies across a variety of sectors. His focus has been on corporate strategy, restructuring and M&A projects with global clients.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, he was a partner with Deloitte where he was responsible for the European M&A and strategy practice of the firm. He conducted due diligence work on behalf of corporate clients and private equity funds. Prior to Deloitte he spent 12 years with Arthur D. Little as consultant, partner and managing director for the firm's German business.
His early career includes four years with the Dutch Philips group. Wolfgang has a Ph.D. and graduated in business administration from the University of Cologne.
