Susan Baldwin is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Chicago office and a member of the firm's Healthcare Services and Life Sciences practices. She focuses on the recruitment of senior level executives for healthcare and employee benefits-related companies, such as national and regional healthcare insurance companies, managed care organizations, pharmacy benefit management companies and specialty health providers. Her search work includes companies focused on consumer-driven healthcare, medical products and pharmacy distribution. Her client relationships include public and private companies, domestic and international companies, venture-backed companies and not-for-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Susan was with Medco Health Services, a multi-billion dollar pharmacy benefits management company, where she served as vice president and general manager of national accounts. Her client list included Fortune 100 publicly traded companies across all industry sectors, as well as national consulting organizations in health and welfare and pharmacy. Prior to joining Medco, Susan worked for Kaiser Permanente, where she led the company’s national accounts effort as vice president.
Earlier in her career, Susan held positions in sales, marketing and general management for Baxter Healthcare (formerly American Hospital Supply) and Caremark.
Susan holds a B.S. in marketing from Arizona State University. She resides in Chicago.
