His search work focuses on the CEO, COO, CFO and CIO functions in the academia and healthcare services sectors. He has significant experience in executive search as well as an impressive line-management background in healthcare organizations. Mike is a highly effective communicator with both governing boards and senior management teams. He has conducted many senior-level consulting assignments, particularly for universities, health systems, hospitals and physician group practice organizations, as well as for functional areas such as finance, human resources, and vice president and chairman-level executives.

Before that, he held the positions of chief operating officer at Meridia Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and vice president of professional services at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio. He also was director of patient services at University of Illinois Hospital and Clinics in Chicago. Mike received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and his M.H.A. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
